Very well said. When I first came to Drupal I would have loved D8. However after 4 years of working with it. I can see a lot of virtue in simplicity. Sure not everything is consistent, and sometimes we all curse current Drupal. D8 smells like a enterprisy Java app, they are not known for there ease of leaning or agility. I'll help out where I can. Can't see an irc cannel yet? Oh, and I would have called it snowdrop.
Formatting options
Basic
To post pieces of code, surround them with <code>...</code> tags. For PHP code, you can use <?php ... ?>, which will also color it based on syntax.
Web page addresses and email addresses turn into links automatically, unless the parent tag has the 'nolink' class.
Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
