I'm glad to read that I wasn't the only one who felt stupid when trying (& failing) to get Drupal to do stuff! I think ease of use is such a key importance for software. Developers who overlook this may cut their own wrists. Engineers don't often get it, but sales people realize it when their clients say things like, "We like what your software does, but it's too hard / time intensive / unsupportable for us to take that risk.", etc.
Formatting options
Basic
To post pieces of code, surround them with <code>...</code> tags. For PHP code, you can use <?php ... ?>, which will also color it based on syntax.
Web page addresses and email addresses turn into links automatically, unless the parent tag has the 'nolink' class.
Lines and paragraphs break automatically.
Allowed HTML tags: <a> <em> <strong> <blockquote> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <div> <p> <br> <pre> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <figure> <img> <figcaption> <hr>
