"If we get a bottleneck at the contrib level, everything slows down." backdrop by it's very definition is going to create a 'bottleneck at the contrib level' by requiring all modules to be ported twice, or only ported to one or the other system. by definition this is only going to hurt drupal. how do you reconcile this w your supposed desire to have backdrop & drupal peacefully co-exist?
